About me

I’m vegan, energetic, self-disciplined and passionate (I wear my heart on my sleeve)
– Born to motivate
– Approachable
– Thoughtful
– My mantra is refuse to give up, this is the underlying principle by which I live my life and is a huge part of who I am.

From being an overweight teenager myself I know how hard it is to lose weight, stay motivated and maintain a social life. I pushed myself to my limits and not only became incredibly fit but also grew as a person. I am so inspired by the capability and potential that our bodies possess – it was this that drove my decision to work in the industry, share my knowledge and motivate clients to be the best version of themselves that they can be.

I have been working in the health & fitness industry for over 22 years and have been privileged to have worked in many different fitness establishments and settings. My greatest achievement is helping to change lives on a daily basis. I work in partnership with the NHS to provide exercise programmes for over 600 people (from all backgrounds, age and gender) with health conditions to lose weight, Better Manage health conditions and regain their quality of life back!

Kulvinder Kaur

About me

My names Kulvinder, my friends call me Kully, I’m a mother to 3 beautiful children who keep me busy and on my toes all day, everyday. Other than English I fluently speak Punjabi and Hindi, I love interacting with and meeting new and interesting people.

I’ve been exercising at home and at the gym on average 5 times a week for the last 18 years, I’ve now got to the point where I feel it’s time for me to share some of what I’ve learnt with others so I’ve recently qualified as an NVQ Level 3 Personal Trainer. Through my nutritional guidance and a well structured exercise regime I now want to help people of all ages and fitness levels to not just reach but exceed their personal fitness goals and aspirations, I’m really excited to help them feel great about themselves and enjoy life in a more fulfilling and positive manner. I push my clients past the point where they are unable to do so themselves whilst making sure they are fundamentally sound and safe.

I have been into fitness my whole life and I really enjoy sports, I grew up in India in a city where so much time and investment had been put into sports and athletics. I’ve always loved training and exercising, as it helps me de-stress and takes my mind away from a busy work life and general household duties.

My clients can expect a fun and challenging workout aimed towards their personal goals. I want my clients to enjoy exercising as I achieve great satisfaction myself in seeing others having fun and succeed.

Qualifications:

About me

I am an outgoing person who enjoys watching and playing all sports, and implementing different training styles in my own regime.I enjoy gardening and cooking in my spare time – both of which help to fuel my own fitness lifestyle! I always look to help those who need it and try to draw up the best possible plans to help them achieve success

I have been working in the fitness industry for 11 years now and the highlight for me has been being asked to present fitness classes at some of the leading health spas in the country. I have also taken my work abroad to teach in France. I have recently begun to work with the NHS thanks to Jit and I find the work here really rewarding, particularly when I see my clients from the programme in the gym continuing to work hard on achieving their goals, even after we have finished together!

Through having a keen interest in sport from a young age I took on A-level PE, and got into work experience in the gym and haven’t looked back since! I have found watching my clients grow and progress is the most rewarding part of my job!
